JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

 

Gamini Gunaratne: We are a medium scale freight forwarding company who believes the service is what matters to build the business relationship with the customers.

 

 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

 

Gamini Gunaratne: Personalize Service to the customer requirements.

 

 

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

 

Gamini Gunaratne: Service to the customers.

 

 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

 

Gamini Gunaratne: We have nearly 400 of freight forwarders in the country in every scale (Lower, Medium & Big) and it’s a good market but the demand for the freight forwarder is not greater than the shipping line unless you hold strong service contracts with the carriers.

 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

 

Gamini Gunaratne: You need to have total logistics solution package to capture the attraction of the foreign customers.

 

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

 

Gamini Gunaratne: Being a GCP member will build the trust and the confidence among your agents and you and that will help to develop the business.

 

JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

 

Gamini Gunaratne: Service is the main tool.
